Being a missionary is so awesome! This has been a wonderful week, full of miracles. Sunday was our final day of our mission-wide "week of sacrifice". It was an incredible week, and very exhausting. In many ways it was the most demanding week I've had as a missionary thus far, but it was the most fulfilling and spiritual as well. The Lord always pours out blessings and strength as we strive to do his will.
Most of our Easter weekend was spent doing one of two things: enjoying General Conference or talking to everyone possible about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. General Conference was amazing! What a privilege we have to hear the words of the Lord's Prophet and Apostles! If you didn't get to watch it, or missed some- I encourage you to read the May Ensign or watch/listen/read the messages on LDS.org. I encourage you to do that even if you attended all of it. I loved it a whole bunch :) Before, in between, and after sessions of General Conference, we knocked on a lot of doors. Sister Stott, Sister Miller, and I love talking to be about the joy and peace that can be found through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It was a great weekend!
Fun quotes from the South:
"The South is not handicap accessible!"- Sister Miller (good sidewalks and other such conviences are not common down here.)
"Yer purdier than a speckled pup."- Old Southern men like to say this to sister missionaries
Thanks to all my friends and family for your amazing love and support! I love you all so much, and pray for you often!
