Hello from Lake Charles!
I love this place so much! Who knows what transfers will bring in less than two weeks, but I'm sure loving my time as a servant in this part of the Lord's Vineyard. I'm doing my best to be a worthy, faithful, dilligent servant! I know that God love every one of His children SO much and that motivates me to work hard inviting them to come closer to Christ! I know the message we share is special and valuable and can bring the greatest happiness possible into the lives of those who are prepared to accept it.
It's been a whirlwind week here and it's been great! Saturday Sister Stott was able to ride to the Houston Temple with a member of our ward to see a man she taught in her first area be sealed to his wife for time and all eternity! His wife has been a member for years and they've talked to missionaries for years, but it was just over a year ago that he was ready to accept the gospel and was baptized. Now he is making temple covenants and he and his wife are happier than ever!
Sister Miller and I worked hard finding and teaching people here all day Satuday, with LOTS of success! We talked to so many awesome people who we are now teaching and it's awesome!
The baptism for Miss B.A. is indefinitely post-poned as she has still not been able to attend church. Her health problems are a huge deal, and it's frustrating to watch her struggle so much. We are meeting with her tonight, so I'll update on that next week.
The work is moving forward and I'm so blessed to be a part of it. I love you all!!
